Jet Set Radio is an action-adventure video game set in a futuristic Tokyo-to. Players join the GGs, an up-and-coming street gang fighting for the right to self-expression against oppressive corporate and police forces. Using magnetically driven inline skates, players take control of gang leader Beat and his posse as they attempt to steal turf from rival gangs by covering the city with colorful graffiti. Along their journey, they are guided by Professor K who serves as DJ for 'Jet Set Radio', a pirate broadcast station that helps uncover the dark plot orchestrated by those in power.
