In Bugsnax, the player takes on the role of a journalist sent to Snaktooth Island by Elizabert Megafig, a disgraced explorer. The island is full of strange creatures called Bugsnax that are half bug and half snack. Players explore whimsically designed areas in search of answers about these mysterious creatures and uncover the mysteries of Snaktooth Island along with feeding grumpuses. Throughout this adventure, players will need to answer questions such as what exactly these half-bug/half-snack creatures are, how do they affect those who eat them and most importantly why do they taste so good?
