Far Cry 5 is an action-adventure video game set in the fictional Hope County, Montana. Players take control of a nameless junior deputy sheriff who must confront and fight off a fanatical doomsday cult known as The Project at Eden's Gate, led by the charismatic prophet Joseph Seed and his devoted siblings. The cult has taken over the region and it is up to the player to rise up against them and liberate their besieged community. Far Cry 5 features a vast open world environment with options for customizing weapons and vehicles to explore across rivers, lands, and skies. As players progress through the story they will shape their own experience based on decisions made throughout that will have unexpected consequences later on.
