World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the first expansion to Blizzard Entertainment’s massively multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft. Released in 2007, it was an immediate success and added a wealth of content to the already massive game world.

The Burning Crusade increased the level cap from 60 to 70, allowing players to continue their journey with new challenges and rewards. It also introduced two new playable races - the Blood Elves and Draenei – which added further variety for character customization among players.

Perhaps its most exciting feature was Outland – a completely new continent full of never before seen dungeons, quests and monsters for adventurers to explore. This included some iconic locations such as Hellfire Citadel, Coilfang Reservoir and Tempest Keep; each offering unique experiences along with powerful items worthy of any hero’s collection.
