WarioWare: Smooth Moves, developed by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems, is a fast-paced party game that features over 200 microgames. The game revolves around Wario and his pals discovering a strange book and a mystical device called the Form Baton. With it, they learn fun and wacky dance moves which are used to play various mini games.

The main gameplay consists of clearing sets of microgames that require players to hold the Wii Remote in different ways each time. These range from holding it like a steering wheel or pretending its an umbrella to balancing it on your head or holding two remotes at once like chopsticks. Players must react quickly as they progress through levels based on how well they perform in the microgames; if their performance isn't good enough then they'll have to restart from an earlier level.

Familiar characters from previous WarioWare titles return for this installment as well as some new ones making appearances such as Captain Syrup, Dr Crygor and Mona. As you clear stages more characters can be unlocked with additional minigames becoming available too plus extras such as music tracks to listen while playing with friends in multiplayer mode where up to four players can compete against one another simultaneously using just one Wii console.
