Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is an action role-playing video game based on the Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop RPG, developed by Troika Games and released in 2004. It’s a first- and third-person Western RPG with a heavy emphasis on character building and role-playing. In this game, players take control of a fledgling vampire who is taken under the wing of vampire prince Sebastian LaCroix.
The player's primary task is to serve the prince while getting familiar with different vampire factions located in Los Angeles. As they progress through their mission, players will be able to form their own political views as well as shape their characters' traits and abilities according to how they choose to play out each situation. Furthermore, depending on which side they support during conflicts between clans, players can increase or decrease certain clan’s power level within the city.
