The Walking Dead: Michonne is the first episode of an episodic video game series based on Robert Kirkman's popular comic book series. Set in the apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead, Michonne stars the iconic character made famous by the comics. In this installment, players are taken into Michonne’s past as they explore why she left her group and her katana behind to face personal demons from her past.

Players take control of Michonne as they journey through a post-apocalyptic landscape full of dangers such as zombies, bandits and other survivors vying for resources. Along with going up against these threats, players will also experience emotionally-charged moments that reveal more about who Michonne was before the outbreak. Through conversations with other characters, flashbacks and interactive exploration sequences they will gain insight into what drove her away from Rick Grimes' group and ultimately brought her back to them again.

Gameplay consists of point-and-click adventure elements where players must solve puzzles by combining items or using them at specific points throughout levels in order to progress further. Players can also choose how to interact with nonplayer characters which could have consequences later down the line in future episodes depending on their choices made here. Combat occurs when necessary over different stages that require quick reflexes and tactical decision making if you want survive all encounters unscathed!
