The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the sixteenth entry in the popular action-adventure game series. The game takes place in a brand new world and introduces many innovative features, such as its use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory for sword fighting and a revised Wii Remote pointing system for targeting enemies.

Skyward Sword follows Link, an adventurous young hero from Skyloft who must traverse through land beneath the clouds to save his childhood friend, Zelda. Along his journey he finds himself facing off against numerous monsters and villains controlled by Ghirahim, an evil being from another realm with plans to capture Zelda's soul. As Link progresses through this perilous quest he’ll acquire special items that will help him overcome obstacles such as puzzles or bosses that stand in his way.
