The Callisto Protocol is an upcoming third-person survival horror video game set 300 years in the future. Players will take on the role of Jacob Lee, a prisoner thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum security penitentiary located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. When inmates start turning into monstrous creatures, chaos ensues and it’s up to players to survive this nightmare.

In The Callisto Protocol, players will have to use their wits and skills as they explore the prison compound while avoiding or fighting off enemies. It's not just monsters they'll face either – there are human enemies that can be just as dangerous if not more so due to their familiarity with the terrain. Players must scavenge for supplies and weapons while using stealth tactics like hiding behind objects or lying prone in order to make it out alive from one area to another within each level.

Players will also have access to advanced technology such as nano-augmentations which allow them special abilities such as enhanced speed and strength or even invisibility at certain times during gameplay.
