All about game Stupid Invaders
Video game fans around the world were saddened to hear of the passing of Jean-Yves Raimbaud, creator of the beloved Space Goofs cartoon, before his final project could be released. But his legacy lives on in Stupid Invaders, an adventure game based on the Space Goofs Cartoon that was dedicated to him after its release in 2001.
In this critically acclaimed point and click adventure game from Cryo Interactive Entertainment and Wanadoo Edition, players take control of five aliens who have crash landed their spaceship on Earth. In order to get back home they must piece together relics from their past that will help them solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. The characters are as charmingly goofy as those seen in the cartoon series – Candy is an impulsive glutton always looking for a snack while Bud is a timid inventor whose inventions often backfire spectacularly!
Players traverse several different locations trying to find items needed for each puzzle or challenge they face along with collecting coins which can be used at shops throughout the course of their journey. Gameplay involves pointing-and-clicking objects with your mouse while interacting with other non player characters (NPCs) through conversation trees or actions like trading money or items to progress further into the story.
Stupid Invaders has been praised by critics for its beautiful art style and memorable soundtrack as well as being one of few games available during its time period featuring voice acting for all NPC’s encountered throughout gameplay. It also features lush environments which transport you into a fantastical world full of colorful characters where anything can happen!
Overall Stupid Invaders is an enjoyable experience that pays tribute to Jean-Yves Raimbaud’s work by bringing it alive in video game form - something he sadly never got chance to see himself but will surely remain timeless among gamers everywhere!
