Star Wars: Squadrons is the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise and it's a game that brings you closer than ever before to mastering the art of starfighter combat. Players will be able to take part in intense, first-person multiplayer space dogfights alongside their squadron and experience what it means to be a true pilot in an epic single player campaign.

The game features two distinct modes; Dogfight and Fleet Battles. In Dogfight mode, players can practice their piloting skills against AI opponents or challenge other players online in 8v8 team battles where each player flies one of four fighter classes (Fighter, Interceptor, Support, Bomber). The objective of these matches is either domination or annihilation depending on which side you’re playing for. Meanwhile, Fleet Battles are more strategic affairs as teams battle over objectives such as capital ships and resource harvesters with the ultimate goal being destroying your opponent's flagship while defending your own.

Each ship class has its own strengths and weaknesses so it will require some experimentation if you want to master them all.
