If you’re a fan of retro beat-em-up games, then the recently announced River City Girls 2 is sure to please. Picking up shortly after the original, River City Girls 2 once again puts you in control of Misako and Kyoko—as well as Kunio, Riki, and a few new characters—as they set out on an all-new adventure across the mean streets of River City.

Players will be able to take advantage of some exciting new features like new movesets for each character, additional enemies to battle against, more diverse environments to explore and even online co-op play with friends both local and remote. Along with these additions comes the return of an old foe from the first game that players will have to contend with if they want to save River City from certain destruction!

River City Girls 2 also keeps its predecessor's over-the-top sense of humor intact while giving players plenty of adrenaline pumping combat action along their journey. Players can team up together locally or join forces online with friends for some two player co-op action while experiencing all that this sequel has to offer!

Despite being released nearly three years ago now at this point in time, it appears that the fans are still just as excited about what’s coming next for these iconic characters as we are here at Arcadia Magazine! With so much content packed into one game - including those classic 8 bit graphics - there is no doubt going be something nostalgic yet fresh about this title when it finally drops onto our consoles later this year.
