The object of the game is for players to find a way out before time runs out. To do this they must use their skills in bravery, stealth and cunning to elude capture as they try different techniques to escape captivity.

The gameplay features realistic graphics that accurately depict historic locations such as guard towers, watch posts, barbed wire fences and more. Players can also interact with other characters including fellow inmates who may give clues or information on how best to approach certain areas or obstacles throughout the camp which will help them succeed in their mission. Additionally there are various weapons available such as grenades, knives and handguns which can be used against German troops if necessary but require careful planning due to limited ammo supplies available within each level.
