If you’re a fan of classic 16-bit action games, then the newly announced Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is the perfect game for you. Developed by Tengo Project and expected to be released on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2021, this exciting remake follows the adventures of Pocky, a young Shinto shrine maiden, and her companion Rocky the raccoon as they take on the Nopino Goblins.

The original Pocky & Rocky was released back in 1996 for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), with its sequel coming out two years later. While it may not have been as popular as some other SNES classics such as Super Mario World or The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, these titles were still beloved by those who experienced them first-hand. As part of their mission to keep retro gaming alive and well, Tengo Project has now decided to remaster both Pocky & Rocky 1 and 2 into one package - aptly titled Reshrined - which will include improved visuals along with updated mechanics that make full use of modern hardware capabilities. Plus, fans can also look forward to plenty of new content including levels never seen before!

But what’s really special about this release is how closely it sticks to its old school roots; from faithfully recreated pixel art graphics that evoke nostalgia from yesteryear all the way down to traditional arcade style gameplay where players must battle waves upon waves of enemies while collecting power ups scattered throughout each level. Of course there are also co-op features if you want even more fun with friends or family members!
