Oxenfree is an adventure video game that takes players on a supernatural journey. Developed by Night School Studio, the game follows Alex, who brings her new stepbrother Jonas to Edwards Island for an overnight party. Little do they know the island is home to old military outposts and strange paranormal occurrences.

Inspired by classic cult films such as Stand By Me and Poltergeist, Oxenfree puts players in control of how their hero comes of age during this rite of passage into adulthood. Through interactions with other characters and choices made throughout the narrative, players will experience various outcomes based upon their decisions.

The visuals are stunningly beautiful and eerie at the same time; it's like stepping into another world filled with secrets waiting to be unlocked. The soundtrack creates a fitting atmosphere; whether it’s peaceful or tense depending on what’s happening in-game, adding more depth to the story being told.
