NHL 12 is the latest ice hockey video game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, coming just in time for the 2011-2012 NHL season. The game was released between September 8–13, 2011 and features Steven Stamkos as its cover athlete. NHL 12 has a ton of new features that make it one of the best hockey games ever created.

The most notable feature is undoubtedly the improved physics engine which provides gamers with a much more realistic experience when playing on virtual ice rinks. Players can now have real contact with goalies and both skaters and goalies may fight each other if need be. This makes for an intense gaming experience that really puts you in control of your team’s success or failure on the ice!

Another great addition to NHL 12 is its Be a Pro mode where gamers are able to customize their players from start to finish; controlling every aspect of their career including training sessions, trades, draft picks, etc. It’s like being an actual GM within the confines of your own home!
