In order to prove his driving prowess and gain respect from local racers, he must win races against formidable opponents - all while being pursued by Sergeant Cross, a veteran police officer determined to put an end to street racing in Rockport.

The player's journey won't be easy as they are met by various rivals throughout their experience. Among them is Clarence Razor Callahan, the game's antagonist who has a devious plan up his sleeve - sabotage! After winning several races and gaining respect from other racers, Callahan uses this opportunity to sabotage and ultimately win the player's car away from him during one of their most important races yet. With everything on the line, it'll take skillful maneuvering and expert tactics if our protagonist wants any chance at reclaiming what was once theirs.
