MySims for the Nintendo DS is an engaging and addicting video game that tasks players with creating a tourist-friendly resort. By completing tasks for the locals, players can earn stars which unlock other parts of the city, new minigames, and items in stores. As more stars are earned, the town grows bigger and more mini games become available to play.

Players take on the role of mayor as they upgrade their town into a bustling vacation destination by adding attractions such as pools, restaurants and shops. In order to do this they need to complete requests from local townsfolk that range from finding lost items or helping out at festivals – when completed these actions reward them with stars used to purchase new buildings or objects like furniture for your home or decorations for your garden.
