When Capcom released the NES-style Mega Man 9 back in 2008, it was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from fans everywhere and hailed as a piece of one-off fan service that was worth its weight in gold. After all these years, gamers were finally getting an authentic retro experience from one of their favorite classic franchises, and no one expected another 8-bit offering in the core series to follow.

And yet here we are! Capcom has come through again with Mega Man 10 now available on WiiWare, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade for all of us to enjoy in all its retro glory. It’s been two years since Mega Man 9 hit store shelves but you can be sure that this latest installment is every bit as good if not better than its predecessor. Players will find themselves immersed in a familiar 2D side scrolling environment reminiscent of classic platforming titles like Mario Bros., complete with bright pixelated graphics and catchy musical scores which perfectly capture the spirit of gaming's past while still providing something fresh and exciting enough to entice modern players alike.
