Lost Odyssey is an RPG video game developed by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 gaming system. It revolves around Kaim, a 1,000-year-old immortal character who does not remember his past or know where his future lies. Along with a handful of other characters, he embarks on an odyssey to uncover their intertwined destinies as well as explore a world that is on the brink of a mystical industrial revolution. This journey is made more immersive and deep through strategic decisions enabled by MMO elements blended into traditional RPG gameplay systems. Award-winning Japanese novelist Kiyoshi Shigematsu and producer Hironobu Sakaguchi wrote the story sequences while famed comic artist Takehiko Inoue handled art direction and composer Nobuo Uematsu composed music. Players will get to experience Kaim's life over many generations - falling in love, forming families and facing conflicts - all in an intense action film full of memorable characters and epic storylines.

Lost Odyssey is an epic role-playing game from Mistwalker and Microsoft Game Studios, set in a world where magic energy has become much more powerful than it used to be. Thirty years before the beginning of the game, this sudden surge of magical power changed society drastically as Magic Engines were developed to harness its power for lighting, automobiles, communication, and robots. Now that many magicians have gained access to this newfound source of power, two nations - the kingdom of Gohtza and the Republic of Uhra (which converted from a monarchy) - are trying to gain control over these new weapons by developing their own magical research.

The Free Ocean State of Numara remains neutral despite all these developments but finds itself in disarray due to a general attempting to stage a coup d'état. At the start of Lost Odyssey players follow Kaim Argonar as he embarks on his quest across four continents during a war between Uhra and Khent, which is populated by beastmen. Along with Kaim there are three other immortal characters who accompany him throughout his journey: Seth Balmore; Jansen Friedh; Cooke Simonson; each with their own unique story arcs interwoven into gameplay elements such as battles or dungeon exploration.

Players will also explore various locations within towns where they can interact with NPCs or purchase items at shops while learning about each character's past through Dreams unlocked after completing certain objectives within battle scenarios or puzzles found inside dungeons using special abilities such as Levitation or Invisibility that are granted by Rings found during playtime. With its deep storyline focusing on themes like immortality and regret along with exciting battles featuring memorable characters that take place in beautiful environments filled with diverse cultures Lost Odyssey provides an unforgettable experience both fans old & new alike won't soon forget!
