Today marks the launch of Little Orpheus, the brand-new adventure game from award-winning studio The Chinese Room and Sumo Digital Studio. Players take on the role of Ivan Ivanovich, a Soviet cosmonaut who is sent to explore the centre of Earth in his exploration capsule, Little Orpheus.

Players will follow Ivan's incredible journey as he descends into an extinct volcano, encountering lost civilizations and undersea kingdoms deep below the Earth’s crust. The visuals are inspired by classic movies like Flash Gordon, Sinbad and The Land That Time Forgot. With vibrant colours and detailed graphics it truly feels like you've been transported back in time!

The story follows Ivan from 1962 when NASA was attempting to put a man on the moon to when he emerges three years later claiming to have saved the world. He is then debriefed by General Yurkovoi in a top-secret bunker where players must uncover all that happened during his impossible adventure beneath our planet's surface.
