Helheim Hassle is an innovative, narrative-driven adventure game that blends puzzle platforming and lighthearted humor. Players take control of Bjørn, a pacifist Viking with the unique ability to detach and combine his limbs at will. Using this special power, you must solve challenging puzzles and outsmart Norse Gods, Goblins, Dragons and angry skeletons in order to progress through the story.

The game world is filled with unique characters and strange creatures who can help or hinder your progress depending on how you interact with them. Every character has their own distinct personality which adds a great level of depth to the experience. The writing throughout the game is top notch; it’s witty without being too overbearing while still managing to be humorous when appropriate.

Gameplay consists mainly of solving environmental puzzles by detaching Bjørn’s limbs and using them in creative ways. For example: You might have to launch Bjørn’s arm across a chasm in order to reach a switch on the other side that unlocks a door further ahead in the level. It may sound simple but later levels become much more complex requiring careful thought as well as trial-and-error experimentation before you find success.

Overall Helheim Hassle offers an interesting mix of mechanics combined with excellent writing, lovable characters, colorful visuals and fantastic soundtrack making for one memorable gaming experience that any adventure fan should not miss out on!
