Gran Turismo 4 is a racing video game with an authentic experience spanning 100 years of automotive history. It offers enhanced and realistic game physics, graphics, race modes and online gameplay through Network Adaptor. The game includes more than 500 vehicles from around the world ranging from vintage to modern models and over 100 courses including Nurburgring, New York City and Fuji Speedway. Players can customize their cars by changing tires, gear ratio etc., compete against each other or AI opponents in GT Arcade Mode and build communities with chat functionality in GT Online Mode. There is also a GT Career Simulation mode where players start from bottom up to earn money, unlock cars/courses, buy/sell cars & upgrade parts while competing in championships races as well as a Photo Mode where they can travel around the globe with their car(s) to take pictures which they can share or print via USB Printer.

Gran Turismo 4 is one of the most iconic racing video games in history. This fourth installment in the Gran Turismo series was released exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 2 and was its final game to support this console. It is also one of only four titles for the PlayStation 2 that can output at 1080i resolution, making it a must-have title for any fan of racing simulation games.
The development process of Gran Turismo 4 was full of challenges, as Polyphony Digital had to delay its release multiple times due to various issues with production. In addition, they were forced to remove online multiplayer mode from the game due to technical difficulties. Despite these setbacks however, fans were still delighted when GT4 finally made its way onto store shelves around 2004/2005.
In terms of content, Gran Turismo 4 offers an abundance of cars from manufacturers all over the world – more than 700 vehicles are included!
