All about game Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash

Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash is a video game released for the Nintendo DS in 2007. It features gameplay similar to that of the classic Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, with a side-scroller format and 3D graphics. The two-screen display of the DS allows monsters to fly on one screen while grounded monsters appear on another, allowing for multiplayer action.

Unfortunately, critical reaction to Double Smash was largely negative due to its lacklustre level design and tedious combat mechanics. IGN gave it a score of 3 out 10, citing “no texture polygons” and “tedious series of punching planes” as reasons why it fails to be entertaining or engaging. GameSpot awarded it an equally dismal 2 out 10, calling it one of the worst games ever made for the Nintendo DS system; GameSpy gave an even worse 1 out 5 rating due primarily to poor game design and uninspired destruction opportunities within levels.

Double Smash has since become something of a cult classic among fans who enjoy simpler platformers from past generations – however, those more accustomed with modern gaming will likely find this title sorely lacking by today's standards. Nevertheless, if you're looking for some old-school monster smashing fun - then give Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash a try!
