Gal Metal is a video game where players must take down alien invaders with the power of metal. The story follows a high school boy who is abducted by Octoids, an extraterrestrial species bent on revenge. His soul is transplanted into a high school girl's body and they must work together with her band K.M.G (Kichijoji Metal Girls) to defeat the aliens using their greatest weakness: metal music. Players will have to master rhythm-based combat and create unique performances in order to save Earth from destruction.

Gal Metal is the latest addition to the world of metal-inspired video games. Developed by DMM Games and published by XSEED Games, it tells a unique story involving aliens, high school students, and headbanging.

Planet Earth is on the brink of invasion after humanity ruined the peace and quiet of the universe with its broadcast of metal music on Voyager probe’s Golden Record. Aliens picked up this signal and couldn't stop headbanging; unfortunately they are now dying off because of it! In their quest for revenge, these extraterrestrials make their way to Earth's source in Kichijoji Tokyo suburb where two high school students—an unnamed boy and Rinko from an outrageous girls-only metal club—are abducted as emissaries for negotiations between humans and aliens. The two souls merge into one being that teams up with other members from KMG (Kichijoji Metal Girls) to save planet Earth using only what they know best – METAL MUSIC!

Players take control of a drum controller which acts as both a weapon against enemies as well as a jamming instrument to thrill audiences around town with epic concerts featuring intense shredding solos or chugging breakdowns . There are also plenty customization options available such as changing character outfits or customizing drums skins depending on player preferences. During battle players must fight back against alien forces while hitting beats in time with background music resulting in points being awarded based on accuracy . Once enough points have been earned , special moves can be unleashed causing massive damage to enemy hordes .
