All about game FlatOut: Head On
FlatOut: Head On is the latest installment in the FlatOut video game series. It's a port of the PlayStation 2 game, FlatOut 2, but with reduced visuals and destruction detail compared to its predecessor. Despite this, it still offers plenty of exciting gameplay for fans of destruction-style racing games.
The core driving mechanics remain largely unchanged from previous titles - players can use nitrous boosts to gain an edge over their opponents and barrel through obstacles on their way to the finish line - but things are made more interesting by some new additions such as 36 carnage challenges and a bone-crunching Ragdoll stunt mode. The Carnage Mode has been taken from Ultimate Carnage, allowing gamers to race against each other while trying to cause as much destruction as possible on the track; this adds an extra layer of fun and excitement which makes every race unique.
In terms of visuals, FlatOut: Head On may be slightly less impressive than its PS2 counterpart due to reduced detail levels - however, it still looks good enough that you won't notice too much difference when playing on your PSP system or Vita handheld console. There's also a great soundtrack included which is full of high energy rock music that really helps get you into the action.
Overall, if you're looking for a fast paced arcade style demolition racer then there's no better choice than Flatout: Head On – its frenetic races will keep you coming back time after time! With several different modes available plus online multiplayer support via Ad Hoc Party (for PSP systems) or Wi-Fi connection (Vita systems), there are countless hours here worth enjoying – so why not give it a go?
