Final Fantasy IX is the ninth main installment in the incredibly popular Final Fantasy series. Developed and published by Square Enix, this title was released for the PlayStation in 2000 to critical acclaim. The game serves as a return to form for the Final Fantasy series after two games with sci-fi settings (FFVII and FFVIII).
