Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix is the prequel to the critically acclaimed hit Fear Effect on the PlayStation game console. It follows four characters - Hana Tsu-Vachel, an assassin trained in love as well as death; Royce Glas, a master operative in counter intelligence; Jakob 'Deke' Decourt, a cold-blooded killer driven by money and murder; and Rain Qin, close companion to Hana with unparalleled beauty wrapped around a dark secret core. The adventure will take them through Hong Kong, Hells Kitchen in New York City, Xi'an's Walled City, the lost tomb of China's First Emperor, and finally Penglai Shan island of immortals. Here they will face off against Rain's evil twin sister Mist where ultimately it is up to you who lives or dies.

Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix is the prequel to the critically acclaimed survival-horror game Fear Effect. The game takes place in an alternate future of Hong Kong, where players take control of four deadly mercenaries on a mission to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a powerful Chinese executive.
Players assume the roles of Hana, Glas, Deke and Rain; three main characters from Fear Effect who are joined by Rain - a close friend of Hana’s. Players will be tasked with collecting three objects while traversing through various locations including Hong Kong, Hell’s Kitchen in New York City, Xi'an's walled city, and Penglai Shan (the mountain island of immortals). Along their journey they'll face off against enemies such as possessed monks and robotic security guards.
The game features unique cel-shaded graphics that allow for impressive visuals and an immersive experience throughout this thrilling adventure. As you progress through each level you can upgrade your character's weapons or purchase items from traders located around town to help make your job easier. Additionally there are mini games scattered across each stage which adds some extra fun into the mix!
