All about game Fatal Frame III: The Tormented

Fatal Frame III: The Tormented is a horror-action video game released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 console. Taking place five years after the events of its predecessor, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, it follows Rei Kurosawa as she navigates her way through a mysterious old mansion and attempts to survive strange encounters with hostile ghosts.

The story begins when Rei takes a photograph of her deceased boyfriend in an abandoned mansion. As a result, she subsequently suffers from recurring nightmares that draw her deeper and deeper into the same building night after night. It soon becomes apparent that these dreams are more than just harmless visions – they’re actually portals into another realm full of unearthly horrors and malevolent spirits who seek to consume Rei's life force.

In order to prevent this, players must help Rei explore the mansion while avoiding or confronting these malicious entities using only their cameras as weapons. By taking pictures of enemies at precise moments during battle sequences called “Fatal Frames” they can damage them and even temporarily stun them so they can escape safely or gain access to secrets within the house walls. Alongside this unique combat system, Fatal Frame III also includes various puzzles which must be solved in order to progress through each floor of the mansion; many involving analyzing photographs taken by Rei herself throughout her journey for clues about how best to proceed forward without getting killed along the way!

With intense action sequences combined with challenging puzzles and an eerie atmosphere provided by haunting music tracks composed specifically for this title, Fatal Frame III: The Tormented is sure to keep you up all night long trying your best not get consumed by vengeful spirits!
