The player takes control of Aladdin as he makes his way through several levels based on locations from the movie including Agrabah, Cave of Wonders, Sultan's dungeon and Grand Vizier Jafar's palace.

The objective is simple - to help Aladdin defeat enemies and progress through each level until he reaches his final confrontation with Jafar. Along the way, there are many power ups that can be collected such as health packs or apples which give an extra life. There are also weapons like swords and rocks which can be used against opponents.
