Deponia Doomsday is an adventure video game that serves as a sequel to the critically acclaimed Deponia trilogy. Players take on the role of Rufus, a chaotic anti-hero, and join him on his most peculiar journey yet!

The game begins with Rufus having a nightmare in which he sacrificed himself to save Deponia – but at what cost? He fought off savage fewlocks, but ultimately had no choice but to blow up Deponia – and grow an unfortunate mustache in the process. Determined not to let these events happen again, Rufus sets out on a mission to prevent this reality from coming true.

Along the way, players will meet McChronicle -a temporal scientist who discovered strange time-anomalies– who helps them discover some time travelers from the future who have carelessly parked their time machine nearby. If it falls into the wrong hands it could spell disaster for Deponia! It's up to you and McChronicle to ensure that doesn't happen by exploring various locations throughout this bizarrely designed world.
