Cold War is a video game set in the mid-1980s U.S.S.R., where players take on the role of a freelance journalist who finds himself caught up in an international conspiracy that aims to control the country. Players must use all available weapons, items and gadgets to evade or overcome Soviet forces, defeat the conspiracy before being sent to prison or killed. Cold War is a video game set during the Cold War between the United States and Soviet Union. Players take on the role of freelance journalist Matt Carter who has been thrown into a KGB political prison after arriving in Moscow for a routine story. It's up to players to uncover an international conspiracy that aims to control the U.S.S.R., evade special Soviet forces, and defeat the conspiracy or risk being either killed or sent to a remote Siberian prison camp.

The game features unique gameplay elements such as using an X-Ray camera to spy on enemies through walls, multiple ways of accomplishing objectives, interactive non-linear worlds with hidden paths and puzzles, authentic recreations of real Soviet locations including Lenin’s Mausoleum, Chernobyl, Kremlin and Lubyanka prison; as well as collecting objects from around each location which can be combined together in order create useful gadgets or weapons – which come in handy when facing off against opponents!
