All about game Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is a radical departure from the previous titles in the Breath of Fire series and from standard Japanese-style role-playing games. Although it shares similar elements with other RPGs, such as characters that can level up and gain new abilities, there are some very unique features included in this title.
The game's world has no overworld map; instead players explore dungeons filled with enemies that must be defeated to progress through each area. Combat is tactical and requires players to make use of action points (AP) for movement around the screen during enemy encounters, as well as performing various combo attacks. Magic spells are noticeably absent from this game; items found in dungeons are also randomised so players never know what they will find on their journey. All enemies appear onscreen which helps keep track of who initiated physical contact first - thus allowing either party an extra turn during battle sequences.
In addition to these features breathing fresh life into the genre, Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter encourages replayability by allowing players to start anew while keeping all items collected along with any experience gained by their party members throughout prior playthroughs. The game even includes a special counter than can be raised when Ryu uses his dragon transformation abilities too often - once it reaches 100 then your playthrough is over! Raising your D-ratio allows access to new areas every time you restart so there's always something more waiting for you if you're brave enough take on another challenge!
