It follows the story of Ragna The Bloodedge, a wanted criminal who has been on the run from the Librarium in Kagutsuchi. In this game, players take control of Ragna as he battles his way through various opponents to reach his ultimate goal - destroying the Librarium and gaining back his freedom.

The gameplay of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Portable consists of intense one-on-one fighting with an array of characters that have their own unique abilities and play styles.
