Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is a video game based on the hit Attack on Titan anime and manga series. Players will take control of an elite member of the Scout Regiment and use their omni-directional mobility gear and blades to defend humanity from invading Titans. This game is set to be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in early 2015 with both Japanese audio and English subtitles available. The features include Story Mode, where players must push past their limits to save humanity; Familiar Characters, New Customizations which includes Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackermann as well as customizable costumes, weapons and voices; Online Co-op Mode where up to three friends can join in defending the outer walls with ranking and leaderboard support; Lastly a Fresh Look update featuring UI improvements along with Circle Pad Pro/C Stick support for New Nintendo 3DS XL owners.

The hit anime and manga series Attack on Titan is coming to North America in the form of a brand new video game titled "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains." Developed by Spike Chunsoft, this 3DS exclusive title will give players the chance to take up arms against invading titans as part of the elite Scout Regiment.
In Humanity in Chains, players will be able to use their omni-directional mobility gear and blades as they fight off hordes of Titans that threaten humanity's three walls. The game features several different modes such as Story mode, where you follow Eren and his friends' journey from beginning to end; Expedition Mode which gives you free reign over your character customisation; Conquest Mode where you must capture territory from Titans; Horde Battle Mode which pits teams against waves of titans with unique AI patterns; and Challenge Missions for those who want a more difficult challenge or are trying to unlock special items.
The developers have also included an online multiplayer mode for up to four people so that friends can team up together offline or online via local wireless play or Nintendo Network play. With several levels available, each one offering its own unique challenges (such as night battles), there’s plenty here for fans old and new alike.
