All about game Asheron's Call

Asheron's Call (AC) is a fantasy MMORPG that has become an iconic game for many players since its launch in 1999. Developed by Turbine Entertainment and published by Microsoft, the game is set on the island continent of Dereth and several surrounding smaller islands and archipelagos on the fictional planet of Auberean. Players are able to explore this large, seamless 3D virtual world with thousands of other players at any given time.

Since AC was released right around the same time as two other major MMORPGs - Ultima Online and Everquest - it had to compete hard for its share of subscribers early on. Despite this challenge, AC enjoyed initial success but eventually lost ground to newer games entering into the market over time. Still, despite its waning popularity, Asheron’s Call remained online for more than 17 years after its original launch date!

Players who have spent countless hours playing Asheron’s Call will fondly remember some of their favorite features such as monthly content updates from developers; an innovative quest system that rewarded players for completing tasks; character customization options such as racial selection or decision-making mechanics like choosing between good or evil alignments; player-versus-player combat where guilds could battle each other in team deathmatches; advanced crafting systems which allowed users to create unique items through combining multiple resources found throughout Dereth; various dungeons filled with puzzles and secret areas to explore plus much more !

Last but not least was perhaps one of AC’s most defining characteristics: Its strong community support system which saw fans coming together regularly via chat rooms or forums to discuss strategy guides & tips while also helping out newbies who were just getting started with their characters. This sense of camaraderie among gamers helped make Asheron’s Call a beloved classic no matter how long ago it was released!
