Army Men: Air Combat is a video game where players take control of one of four toy helicopters and pilot them through various terrains, including backyards, playgrounds, picnic areas and beaches. The objective is to engage in air-to-air and air-to-ground combat with enemies ranging from battleships to butterflies. Players must use the unique abilities of each helicopter to battle mutant insects; destroy remote control cars; blow up sand castles; and save Sarge from being melted by kids with magnifying glasses. It's an exciting real combat experience featuring plastic men!

In addition to four types of helicopters (Chinook, Apache, Huey and Super Stallion) available for combat missions against enemies like toy robots, electric trains, killer bees and dragonflies; players can also interact with their environment by picking up objects such as dog dishes, soda cans or bags of fertilizer to use against their opponents. There are 16 single player missions to choose from along with competitive multiplayer modes for those who wish to challenge other gamers online.
