Players take control of Captain William Blade, the toy pilot of several plastic helicopters, as they battle against an evil tan army and their war machines in real-world settings such as backyards, playgrounds, campgrounds and giant sandcastles.

In addition to four types of helicopters (Chinook, Apache, Huey and Super Stallion) available for combat missions against enemies like toy robots, electric trains, killer bees and dragonflies; players can also interact with their environment by picking up objects such as dog dishes, soda cans or bags of fertilizer to use against their opponents. There are 16 single player missions to choose from along with competitive multiplayer modes for those who wish to challenge other gamers online.
