The original Advance Wars was a hit on the Game Boy Advance and now its sequel, Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising is here to bring even more exciting strategic action. Advance Wars 2 comes with an improved engine from the first game, allowing for larger maps and new units with different abilities. Additionally, there are several new features in this installment such as Fog of War where players can only see what’s visible within their range at any given time during battle. There’s also a Combat Boost feature which allows players to power up their units temporarily by spending money earned during battles.

The story mode involves two factions – Orange Star and Black Hole – competing for control of the world map in Campaign Mode or playing against each other in Versus Mode using preset rulesets or creating custom ones.
