Papers, Please is a video game that puts players in the role of an immigration inspector at the border between Arstotzka and Kolechia. In this post-war era, the player must decide who can enter Arstotzka by using documents provided by travelers and Ministry systems to inspect, search, and fingerprint them. Players must be careful not to let smugglers, spies or terrorists cross into Arstotzka as they could put citizens in danger.
